UCL Medic to Medic

Charity

Medic to Medic
We aim to support trainee healthcare workers throughout their education, so that they are at less risk of dropping out of their course and can concentrate on their studies. We want to add to the absolute numbers of healthcare workers in training, in order that there are more graduates in countries with critical shortages. We aim to increase the numbers of doctors working in rural areas, so that everyone has equal access to healthcare. We want to increase the number of women training as health workers, in order that more women have entry to better paid, stable employment. Through mentorship, teaching and exchange programmes, we hope to raise awareness of the different conditions facing colleagues worldwide and an appreciation of the global health community.

Malawi has a population of 15 million people, but only 265 doctors. If everyone at UCL gives £1, we could train 26 more. Do something amazing today by helping to change lives in Malawi. Make a difference. Give One :)

If you do give one, (thanks in advance) please let us know who you so we can follow our supporters and say thank you! The aim of the campaign is to get every member of UCL to give us a pound, but further donations are appreciated hugely too!

Once you've donated, please help us to spread the word about the campaign by sharing the video, linking to www.justgiveone.co.uk or just using old-fashioned word of mouth to let people know what we're trying to do.
