Hi, thanks for visiting our page (Jez, Matt and Alex). Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to Samaritans of Weston-Super-Mare. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on the charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

We are raising money for the Samaritans of Weston-Super-Mare, if you know anyone personally who volunteers with them you'll know how hard they work for the charity, and if you've ever had to call the Samaritans you'll know how good the work is that they do.

Samaritans is a great charity, run by volunteers who need as much financial support as possible to carry out the charity's work. Samaritans provides confidential, non-judgemental emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide. Samaritans aims to benefit society by improving people’s emotional health in order to create a greater sense of well being. Apart from being a 24-hour source of support on the telephone, by email, by letter or face to face, Samaritans work in local communities throughout the UK.

10 km doesn't sound a long distance to run untill you realise how unfit we all are. Every team member is partial to an alcoholic beverage and we have all got a vice with the tobacco weed. We will be celebrating straight after the race in a nearby pub and all our welcome to join us as it is Jez's Birthday on the same day the event is held, so there is a lot of committment coming from within the team.

All donations are welcome no matter how small or how BIG. Thanks for all the support and hope to see you on the day.
