Muscular Dystrophy UK
Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to beat muscle-wasting conditions. We are supporting high quality research to find effective treatments and cures. We are leading the drive to get faster access to emerging treatments for UK families. We are ensuring everyone has the specialist NHS care and support they need. The right help at the right time, wherever they live. We are providing a range of services and opportunities to help people live as independently as possible We know we can beat muscle-wasting conditions more quickly by working together. We hope you will join us.
ABF The Soldiers Charity
ABF The Soldiers Charity are for soldiers, for life. We are the Army’s National Charity, helping soldiers, veterans and families from every conflict They risk so much for us, but for them, its "just doing their job". In return, The Soldiers’ Charity give them down-to-earth help and friendship, with no hassle or bureaucracy. Over the last 70 years, we have helped countless people from the Army family, defining our work through the Army’s own values of courage, loyalty and selflessness. If needs be, we can often provide vital help within 48 hours. The scope of our work is enormous; last year our eldest beneficiary was a 108-year-old World War II widow who needed assistance in paying her care home fees. The youngest was a two-year-old child of a serving soldier who needed funding for a specialist piece of medical equipment. To provide independence and dignity for every soldier and veteran is something we are incredibly proud to do. Thats what weve been here to offer since 1944 and will be here for as long as there is a need. http://www.soldierscharity.org

Between us we have run 17 London Marathons and this year we have decided to run together as Cheshire MPs to raise money for the Army Benevolent Fund and Muscular Dystrophy UK, both of which do such magnificent work for their intended beneficiaries.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
