Wallace and Gromit's Children's Foundation
Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation is a national charity raising funds to improve the quality of life for children in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK. Serious illness is always distressing, but in a child it is cruelly so, as it steals away childhood itself. The Foundation funds an innovative range of projects to ensure children in hospitals and hospices have a better, brighter future. Projects include arts, music and play therapy programmes, sensory equipment and facilities, respite care, state of the art equipment and parent accommodation.
The Kennel Club Charitable Trust
The Kennel Club Charitable Trust's mission statement is simple, this being: "We make a difference for all dogs by funding a wide variety of work ranging from supporting research into canine diseases to welfare initiatives and the promotin of support dogs, all of which give dogs healthier and happier lives." A Grand Day Out

10 April 2011

A Sponsored walk for families and their dogs raising money for The Kennel Club Charitable Trust and Wallace and Gromit's Children's Foundation. Please note: Although you may only be able to see the logo of one of the charities on the top left hand-side of this event page, all money raised from the events will be split equally between Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation and The Kennel Club Charitable Trust. Walkers can choose from three different trials in London, Bath and Essex - 1.5km, 3km or 5km and afterwards will be able to enjoy refreshments and fun activities for all.

This is a great way of raising money to help sick children and make a difference to dogs. Please remember to tick add gift aid if you are a tax payer as this can increase your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you!
