In 2014 around June to August (weather dependant) Barry Robson , Mark Harding, Ian Smith, Dr Mike Stroud (OBE) and myself are going to kayak over 100 kilometers from the UK to Alderney.

We are doing this on Sit-on-top kayaks and as far as I know this is the first time that this has been done.

The trip will take about 18-24hrs and we will be doing this crossing in one go which involves crossing the treacherous and one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world.

Please help as best you can by donating whatever you can afford and also by spreading the word to friends and families.

Many thanks and keep an eye on the blog for any updates!

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
