Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund
Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is the only charity exclusively funding research into pancreatic cancer in institutions throughout the UK. Pancreatic cancer has a 3% survival rate. While the survival rates for many cancers have improved over the last forty years, the rate for pancreatic cancer has not changed. Lack of research and research funding has been a major factor. Pancreatic cancer is the 5th most common cause of cancer death, but receives only 1% of UK cancer research funding. Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is a new charity dedicated to defeating the disease by supporting and promoting cutting edge research into early detection and new teatments.

Hi,
Thanks for coming to our fundraising page.
This years the Howards Way Walk Team are attempting to
complete the 102 mile Cotswolds Way in only 3 days!
This will be their toughest challenge yet!
This years team includes stalwarts of old and some new
blood - Aaron, Andrew, Barry, Francois, Frank, John, John,
Julez, Laura, Madeleine, Magnus, Matt, Naomi, Nick, Octavia,
Sarah, Sasha, Simon, Simon & Stuart.
Again they are raising funds for the Pancreatic Cancer
Research Fund to try to find a way to earlier diagnosis
of this insidious disease. There has been no progress
on this front in forty years and the survival rate
still only shows 3% surviving beyond 5 years after diagnosis.
We know that there are many demands on your support
these days but please give as generously as you can and
make the pain, injuries and lost toe-nails worthwhile
Thanks from all of us.
