Hackney Community Law Centre's fundraising
Thank you for visiting our team's fundraising page for the 2013 London Legal sponsored walk.
Our team was:- Sean Canning, Nathaniel Mathews, Hilton von Herbert, Diane Morrison, Marie Froysa Hoyle and Miranda Grell
On Monday 20th we walked with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers, clients, supporters, friends and family to raise funds for Law Centres and pro bono agencies in and around London.
Our team walked to raise funds for Hackney Community Law Centre.
Hackney Community Law Centre helps some of the most vulnerable and poorest people in Hackney and surrounding East London boroughs where there are no Law Centres.
Hackney Community Law Centre is extremely short of funds to help us continue assisting people with their legal problems in the way we currently do-through, for example, face to face advice at our offices or help in court.
Due to the forthcoming changes being made to legal aid, the Law Centre stands to lose even more of its current budget.
Even though we've now completed the walk, we will still be grateful to receive donations.
