Cardiac Risk In The Young
Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) is the UK charity that supports those affected by conditions that can cause young sudden cardiac death. Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) aims to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions. CRY is a national charity and relies on the generous donations of CRY supporters to fulfill it's ambitious aims. For more information please contact CRY on 01737 363 222 or cry@c-r-y.org.uk
St. Barnabas House
St Barnabas Hospices consists of two Sussex-based hospices providing specialist palliative care for the local community. St Barnabas House cares for adults with advanced progressive life-limiting illnesses in the areas of Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield. Our brand new purpose-built hospice (opened in March 2011) has a 20 bed Inpatient unit, Day Hospice and Community Team providing care in the hospice and at home. Patients and families are never charged for their care. It costs almost £4 million each year to provide our services and only a small part of this is government funded so we rely heavily on the support of our local community. Chestnut Tree House is the children's hospice for Sussex and cares for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses. We provide support for the whole family including respite care at the House or in the home, sibling support, end of life care and pre and post bereavement support. Familes are never charged for their care. It costs £2.5 million each year to provide this care yet we receive less than 10% from the government so rely almost entirely on the support of the people of Sussex. Thank you for supporting St Barnabas House and Chestnut Tree House!

Hannah Dunn's Spinnaker Tower Abseil

Fundraiser:

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/HannahDunn4

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. As I am now an official 'adrenalin junky', my next venture is to abseil down the 170 metre Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth to raise money for 2 great causes; St. Barnabas House hospice in Worthing & Cardiac Risk In The Young (CRY), in loving memory of Tom Clabburn and Claire Prosser.

The event takes place on 22nd April and I'd be very grateful if you would support me in my quest by sponsoring me through this page. Any amount, small or large, will be massively appreciated and help these 2 brilliant charities.

Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

Love Hannah x
