MapAction is a charity that provides life-saving information about disaster situations in the form of maps. Its highly-skilled volunteers play a vital role in helping to coordinate the national and international emergency response by gathering information. MapAction is the only non-governmental organisation (NGO) anywhere in the world with a capacity to deploy a fully trained and equipped humanitarian mapping and information management team, often within a few hours of an alert.

The sun shone, the crowds were amazing and I had an amazing run. There were some issues with my left foot which slowed me down after the 17 mile mark, but I did it!!!! Thank you so much for reading this page and sponsoring me!
I'm very proud to have run this marathon on behalf of MapAction, a charity that provides life-saving information about disaster situations in the form of maps.
I really appreciate you reading this and hope you can sponsor me. Please help me reach my target for this vital, unique and outstanding organisation. Thank you for your help!
About MapAction
I have been a volunteer with MapAction for over 5 years. Myself and other highly-skilled volunteers play a vital role in helping to coordinate the national and international emergency response by gathering information such as:
- Which communities are in greatest need?
- What are their priority needs?
- What is being done to help them?
- What are the gaps in aid delivery?
MapAction is the only non-governmental organisation (NGO) anywhere in the world with a capacity to deploy a fully trained and equipped humanitarian mapping and information management team, often within a few hours of an alert.
