Charities

MND Association
The Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association is the only national organisation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland dedicated to the support of people with MND and everyone who cares for them. We improve care and support for people living with MND, their families and carers and fund and promote research that leads to new understanding and treatments, and brings us closer to a cure for MND. We also campaign and raise awareness so the needs of people with MND and everyone who cares for them are recognised and addressed by wider society. Our vision is a world free from MND. Alzheimer's Society
Alzheimer’s Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and creating lasting change for people affected by dementia.

Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

Our challenge is tied in with the football club's 80th season and is to play 80 holes of golf in five different countries in less than two days - teeing off for the first hole in England on Sunday, 25th June and sinking the final putt in Germany 40 hours later having also played in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Money raised from the challenge will be shared between the Alzheimer's Society and the Motor Neurone Disease Association both of which have close connections with members of the club.

Further details of the challenge and a list of sponsors to date can be found on the club website - www.icfc.co.uk. We are looking for sponsorship of all 80 holes so if you would like to sponsor a particular hole and would like your photograph or business logo added to the website please email the details to ickleshamcasualsfc@hotmail.com.

Thank you for your support.
