Racing Welfare
Racing Welfare is the Charity that helps all people who work or have worked in the British Horseracing Industry. Through our network of Welfare officers throughout the country and our award winning 24 hour helpline, we give help and support to those who suffer injury, illness or other disadvantage and provide quality affordable housing for racing's retired or for young people entering the industry. Jack Lander's IJF/RW Walk fundraising page

Fundraiser:

My name is Jack Lander, when I'm older I would love to be a jump jockey, I love racing and over the last three years I have learnt how important the Injured Jockeys Fund is to all the jockeys and the sport.  Over the last year after doing some walking with Richard Farquhar from "Walking The Courses" and my sister starting to work in racing working for Dan Skelton, I understand how important Racing Welfare is as well to everyone in the sport of racing.

After I did my walk from Stratford Racecourse to Oaksey House I still wanted to help out the IJF and also wanted to help Racing Welfare too so I am doing another walk to the other IJF rehabilitation Centre Jack Berry House.  I am setting off on the 23rd July from Newmarket's Rowley Mile Racecourse, I will be walking about 20 miles a day for 8 days getting to Jack Berry House on Sunday 30th July.

If anyone would like to join me walking on any of the days please email me at jacksinjuredjockeyfundwalk@outlook.com
