The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) provides opportunities for young people to achieve both their ambitions and potential in life and is a fitting legacy that John would be immensely proud of. Working with 11 youth organisations the JTYAF advances the lives of young people through the award of scholarships and bursaries. The young achievers who attain these awards are selected for their demonstration of the JTAYF's key values: courage, determination, unselfishness and cheerfulness in adversity.

Hi, thanks for visiting my page! Wow did it! What an awesome experience.. The support from the thousands in the crowd was too amazing for words! My time was 6hours 2mins & 52secs.. slower than I would have liked, but still a finish is a finish! It was tough going in the mid section when my calf seized up, but having my family there really helped motivate me to keep going. We had all four seasons in one race too, with a bright sunny cold start, cooler mid section, then very strong headwind for the westerly last third and lastly rain up to the finish! I've never been so pleased to see Buckingham Palace I can tell you!! I am still collecting sponsorship so it isn't too late to add to my total.. I really appreciate all your support and thank you so much for donating. Jx
