British Wireless for the Blind Fund provide radio and audio sets on free permanent loan for life to U.K. registered blind and partially sighted people, over the age of eight, who are in genuine need. (as determined by receipt of a means tested benefit). The sets we provide are high quality, robust and are specially adapted to enable those with no, or limited sight to easily locate and navigate the controls.

Swimming with sharks's fundraising page
Hi, thanks for looking at our fundraising page and hopefully assisting us reach our goal of raising £1,000 for The British Wireless for the Blind Fund.
On the 1st February we will be participating in a shark dive. The shark dive will involve us coming into contact with sharks such as sand tiger sharks, lemon sharks, guitar sharks, zebra sharks and leopard sharks, as well as stingrays. We will be in the water with the sharks. This challenge will not involve any cages or bars separating us from the sharks.....we must be mad!!
Including in the dive will be Janet Edwards, Brooke Edwards and Victoria Fox. We will be in the water for around an hour whereby photographic evidence will be provided.
Please help a truly worthy cause that makes a difference to so many people on a daily basis.
The British Wireless for the Blind Fund depends on fundraisers like us and supporters like you to continue supplying free of charge on loan specially adapted audio equipment to those blind or partially sighted that meet the necessary requirements. Some of these people have very little contact with the outside world which a radio provides.
