Charities

East Anglian Air Ambulance
The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a lifesaving charity covering the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. We receive no Government funding so are entirely dependant on fundraisers, donations and the generosity of the public. We have to raise over £3 million a year to continue our service, flying 365 days a year, with an average of four to five missions per day. Beacuse our crews can get to patients fast and provide advanced medical attention we can be the difference between complete recovery and long term injury, life and death. Road traffic accidents account for over 50% of the incidents we're called to. Due to the speed of the helicopters it takes no more than 13 minutes to the nearest A&E department within the region. It's your support that enables us to save lives.
Virgin Unite
Virgin Unite is the non-profit foundation of the Virgin Group. We unite people to tackle tough social and environmental problems in an entrepreneurial way. Our aim is to help revolutionize the way businesses, government and the social sector work together - driving business as a force for good. This is based on the belief that this is the only way we can tackle the scale and urgency of the challenges facing the world today. All of Virgin Unite’s overheads are covered by Richard Branson and the Virgin Group, meaning that 100% of additional donations received, go direct to the frontline where they are needed most.

Hello friend and thankyou for visiting my page.

As you know I am taking part in the Virgin Media Skydive 100!!!!

This is my first ever skydive and as you can imagine I'm a little nervous....well actually completely terrified!!! I would class myself as being a relatively sane person, nor would I call myself an adrenaline junkie but jumping out of a perfectly good plane at 13500 feet only to plummet back to Earth at 120mph relying on someone else to open a plastic bag that will float us both to safety, then I must be a little tapped, right?? I suppose from a young age I've been unknowingly practicing for such an event as this....jumping out of trees, bedroom windows, hay stacks etc etc so cant imagine its THAT much different. (he says quivveringly chuckling)

All jokes aside It should be an amazing experience for myself and the two charities the event is raising for are worth all the support. As you have visited my site then you're already considering making a donatition so thank you however much you decide to donate is greatly appreciated. Although the target doesn't seem a great amount dont let that stop you going crazy if you wish the more the better!!!!

No for the science bit.......

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

THANKS, I LOVE YOU AND GOOD NIGHT!!!!
