CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards. Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years. CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support, every step of the way.

Rise & Shine's London Marathon Challenge 2010
Hi and thanks for visiting my London Marathon 2010 donation page for CLIC Sargent.
Many of you have seen me get involved with other fundraising events in the past and this is by far the biggest challenge to date. The soreness of previous half marathons have told me that the pain is only temporary and one day my nipples will return to normal!
26 long gruelling miles through London rubbing shoulders with 36,000 other people. Oh and the 16 weeks of training beforehand.
Why run a marathon then?
CLIC Sargent is a fab charity to run for. They provide excellent support for children with Cancer and it's such a privilege to be able to run on behalf of the children that need this support.
I really do appreciate all your support and thank you for your generous donations.
The money raised will make a real difference to those children affected by Cancer.
