Watford New Hope Trust exists to serve homeless and vulnerable people by providing accommodation and opportunities to rebuild damaged lives. We run 15 projects and services in and around the Watford area, which include housing, training and employment opportunities and social enterprise initiatives.

My Crazy London Marathon Attempt
2012 London Marathon - 22nd April
Well I did it.
I completed the full course in 4:23:08, 6:52 inside my target. It is fair to say I am seriously pleased with this time. I am so proud to have been able to take part in such an amazing race.
Thanks to all those that have sponsored me so far and got me so close to my target of £1000 for Watford New Hope Trust. It means so much to us that so many of you were able to sponsor me and support the Trusts work. Thanks so much.
My London Marathon

As many of you know - I love running!!! I have therefore decided to try my hand at long distance running!
"But you all ready do long distance running" I hear some people saying. But my running is nothing when compared to the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon. This is a huge challenge for me and your support and chatting to me about it is a massive encouragement. However, if you also feel able to, it would be amazing if you could give a donation to my chosen charity.
I have decided to run for a charity based in Watford, that I know and love and that I have supported in the past. For those of you who are unfamiliar with them, or have not recieved one of my fancy cards (available on request if you would like one), I am running for Watford New Hope Trust - more details below.
I am hoping to raise £1000 or simply as much money as possible and any donation you are able to make, no matter how large or small, would be massively appreciated by both myself and the Trust. They can't continue to serve vulnerable people without the amazing generosity of the public.
Donating couldn't be easier - Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on the Trusts behalf where the donation is eligible. Simply click the button on right and follow the instructions on screen!
Watford New Hope Trust
Watford New Hope Trust was established around 1990 and exists to serve homeless and vulnerable people by providing accommodation and opportunities to rebuild damaged lives. They house 50 people every night in a night shelter and help over 600 homeless people every year.
They also offer various projects and services in Watford, including an outreach team, a drop in and development centre, hostels and houses, and a tenacy support team.
