Bristol Zoo Gardens is so much more than a visitor attraction; we’re also a leading conservation and education charity. By visiting Bristol Zoo you have directly contributed to our conservation work, but we need further support to raise vital funds to care for our animals and protect endangered species across the globe. We are involved in a growing number of field conservation projects, working directly to safeguard threatened plants, animals and habitats. Projects range from breeding programmes in the Zoo to conserving species in the wild such as the native White Clawed crayfish, to the lemurs of Madagascar and orphaned gorillas in Cameroon.

Thank you for visiting Jock's fundraising page. 

Jock is a critically endangered western lowland gorilla at Bristol Zoo Gardens.  Over the next year, his home will be extended to accommodate his growing family. 

This is an amazing £1 million development and Bristol Zoo is asking for your help to pay for the finishing touches to ensure that it is the very best breeding facility.  The plans include all sorts of fun additions, such as ropes, play equipment and an indoor pool. 

Please help us transform Jock's home into something wonderful.
