Diocese of London
The Bishop of London’s Mission Fund encourages and supports mission work throughout the Diocese of London, particularly community based projects with a particular bias to serving the poor and vulnerable, often reaching “beyond the walls of the church” to fund projects in areas of deprivation. The projects supported range from children, youth and family workers, pioneering ministers, community cafes and drop in centres to environmental mission projects. The Diocese of London is uniquely equipped for this role, as through its 450 parishes, the Diocese is present in every community, and can really make a difference to the communities it serves.

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/John

I have decided to celebrate my silver Jubilee in full time Church ministry by joining a small team of walkers from the Diocese of London and Climb Mt Kilimanjaro to raise essential funds for the Bishop of London Mission Fund.

This fund makes it possible for us to work in some of the most deprived and needy areas within our City. I hope you will support me and help me to give something back in thankfulness for the privileges of the last 25 years. To say thank you to those with whom I have worked, shared their hopes and dreams and accompanied through loss and grief. Please keep the parish of Holy Trinity Birchfield Birmingham , Poplar Team Ministry London, St John West Hendon and St Matthias Colindale in your prayers
