Charity
Queenscourt Hospice is an independent charity that provides specialist palliative care to the community in Southport, Formby, West Lancashire and surrounding areas. Opened in 1991 it is largely dependent on voluntary donations to provide the care that all its patients and their relatives deserve. Our services include a ten bedded In Patient unit, a Day Therapy service with many complementary therapies including creative therapy, an Out Patient unit and our new Queenscourt at Home service which recently enjoyed its first birthday. Our Terence Burgess Education Centre runs training courses attended by a wide variety of health professionals and others concerned with caring for the terminally ill. Without the help and support of people who go that little bit extra or that one step further we would not be able to continue providing our exceptional standard of care. We would like to thank everyone who might consider Queenscourt Hospice as the beneficiary of their kindness.
Please note Virgin Money Giving isn't responsible for the content fundraisers post on their pages, but if you see something you feel is offensive or inappropriate, please let us know and we'll look into it.
General donations for Queenscourt Hospice
Thank you for helping us to care more for others. 'Thank you' never seems enough but it is all we can give you. We cannot exist without your generosity.
Donating through Virgin Money Giving is simple, fast and totally secure.
It is also the most efficient way to donate. We will receive your money electonically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 25% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
We have been asked to make you aware that messages placed on online donation sites are subject to Google search in the same way as most other websites. So please don't put anything into messages of a private nature, or anything you would not wish to be known by other site users or Google search users.
Once again, many thanks for your support!
