Johnny Warman here folks !!! and many thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations. I intend to be collecting donations at all the gigs I am playing at before the off on April 22nd and I am also helping my girlfriend complete her first and only Marathon. For me it is the most emotional journey as back when it first started, I was watching the TV and a feature came up saying that the first London Marathon was taking place the next day, and as a kid when we watched any sport on TV we would be out the next day trying to complete what we had watched the previous day. I always fancied the Marathon and memories of running 30 - 40 laps of the three ponds in Victoria Park came flooding back. I decided to enter it with no training and just turn up on the day. Well 4 hours and 47 minutes later I had completed my task and still have the tiny little button of a medal. After that I tried to do it properly and my best time was 3hrs and 30minutes and one year when Mars were the sponsors I took both my daughters hands and we ran across the line together and they used the footage in their ad campaign on the TV. My family used to come and watch led by my beautiful dad who sadly passed away 26 years ago so every time I see or hear go on dad in the marathon my eyes well up as hewas such a treasure. 2 yeasr ago I lost my beautiful younger brother Andy to this awful disease and this was the Charity that I had to run for. I am part of the Mike Levitz team who raise thousands for the search for a cure and I will endeavor to help raise as much as we possibly can so please give generously and just think for a vfew seconds what it is for.
