Macmillan Cancer Support
At Macmillan, we know cancer can affect everything. Your body, your relationships, your money, everything. But Macmillan is here to help people live life, no matter what. We give you the support you need to hold on to who you are and what’s important. But right now, we can’t reach everyone who needs us. Almost half of us will get cancer, and we need your help to make sure that people get the support they need to face one of the toughest fights of their lives. Life with cancer is still life -let’s help people live it. We are a charity registered in England and Wales (261017), Scotland (SCO39907) and the Isle of Man (604).
The Brain Tumour Charity
The Brain Tumour Charity is the UK's leading and largest dedicated brain tumour charity. We fund scientific and clinical research into brain tumours and offer information and support to those affectd, whilst raising awareness and influencing policy. Our aim is to improve understanding, diagnosis and treatment of brain tumours.

My page:

Hello and welcome to Johns Climbers fundraising page,

Earlier this year we were hit with the devastating news that John O'nions was diagnosed with an agressive Brain Tumour. After months of treatment John unfortunately passed away on May 22nd, he was an amazing father and husband, as well as a true friend and work collegue to so many people.

With the help and support of so many loved ones, along with the work done by The Macmillan Cancer Trust and The Brain Tumour Charity, it has made it a much less painful experience to go through.

In light of this, we wanted to give something back to these two charities and honour John's life, so a small group of friends and work collegues have come together, put on their walking boots and have arranged to climb Ben Nevis on the 20th July 2013.

Any donation no matter how small will be greatly appreciated, whether you know someone personally who has been diagnosed with cancer or specifically a brain tumour, know John in particular, or even just to support us on our climb, we will all be truly grateful.

  Thank you so much :)
