Charity
Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's. Because we're here, no one has to face Parkinson's alone. We bring people with Parkinson's, their carers and families together via our network of local groups, our website and free confidential helpline. Specialist nurses, our supporters and staff provide information on every aspect of Parkinson's. As the UK's Parkinson's support and research charity we're leading the work to find a cure, and we're closer than ever. We also campaign to change attitudes and demand better services. Our work is totally dependant on donations. Help us to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's.
Please note Virgin Money Giving isn't responsible for the content fundraisers post on their pages, but if you see something you feel is offensive or inappropriate, please let us know and we'll look into it.

Every year, my brother Chris and I try to do something adventurous, whether it’s climbing up a 3000 metre mountain or skiing down a black slope in the Italian Dolomites. This year we have decided to challenge ourselves and run the Berlin Marathon in September. To make all the suffering worthwhile we have decided to run for Charity. Chris will be running for the British Heart foundation (see his website at http://original.justgiving.com/christopherhoole ) and I will be raising money for Parkinson’s UK and Parkinson's Italia.
I have chosen Parkinson’s because my Grandad has suffered many years from this incurable and debilitating disease. The money raised will not only help research, but also improve the care and treatment of people with Parkinson’s. For more information on this disease please click the link on the left.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to Parkinson’s UK. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on the charity's behalf. Gift Aid is a policy that enables tax-effective giving by individuals and is the easiest way to increase donations by nearly a third at no cost to the donor. In simple terms, please donate using this website and we can give more money to Parkinson’s UK.
Thanks again for donating.
Se vuoi aiutarmi a raccogliere fondi per Parkinsons Italia, ti chiedo di versare una quota alle seguenti coordinate informandomi via email circa la somma che hai donato;
