Charities
The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a lifesaving charity covering the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. We receive no Government funding so are entirely dependant on fundraisers, donations and the generosity of the public. We have to raise over £3 million a year to continue our service, flying 365 days a year, with an average of four to five missions per day. Beacuse our crews can get to patients fast and provide advanced medical attention we can be the difference between complete recovery and long term injury, life and death. Road traffic accidents account for over 50% of the incidents we're called to. Due to the speed of the helicopters it takes no more than 13 minutes to the nearest A&E department within the region. It's your support that enables us to save lives.
Virgin Unite is the non-profit foundation of the Virgin Group. We unite people to tackle tough social and environmental problems in an entrepreneurial way. Our aim is to help revolutionize the way businesses, government and the social sector work together - driving business as a force for good. This is based on the belief that this is the only way we can tackle the scale and urgency of the challenges facing the world today. All of Virgin Unite’s overheads are covered by Richard Branson and the Virgin Group, meaning that 100% of additional donations received, go direct to the frontline where they are needed most.
Please note Virgin Money Giving isn't responsible for the content fundraisers post on their pages, but if you see something you feel is offensive or inappropriate, please let us know and we'll look into it.

It seems as a fundraiser for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, you can only get jealous of supporters' fantastic and adventurous fundraising efforts for so long before you say, 'My turn!'
As a colleague and I join the massive Virgin Media Skydive 100, we are pushing ourselves to the limit while raising money for the charity we love.
I hope you will join me in supporting the East Anglian Air Ambulance and Virgin Unite along with the 100+ people who will be hurling themselves out of an airplane to show their dedication and support for such worthy and inspiring causes.
No donation is too small (or too large) - your support is very much appreciated!
