Crohn’s and Colitis UK is the new name for The National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s Disease (NACC). We are a major charity offering support through our website, helplines, newsletters, information booklets and local community groups. The charity campaigns for better healthcare and funds vital research in Crohn's and Colitis. Crohn’s and Colitis are inflammatory bowel diseases which last a lifetime and for which there is no known cure. They can strike at any age but young people are most at risk. Around 250,000 people across the UK have these conditions.

As the reality has finally clicked that I will be attempting to run 26 miles in 4 weeks I thought that as I've reached the point of no return, i would try and muster some support.
As myself and another family member are both sufferers of Crohn's, it only seemed correct to raise money for this charity. Ironically I was due to run the marathon last year but had to pull out due to being too porrly with my Crohn's so this year I'm going for it. I don't care how I get round, i just want to finish and hopefully run most of it!
Please find a few pennies to help raise money for this and the torture that i'll be putting myself through!!
