Childreach International
ChildReach International is an innovative children's charity that works with local communities in some of the world's poorest regions, helping them give their children a brighter future. Thanks to your generous support, more and more children are escaping a life of grinding poverty and given the chance to reach their full potential.

Hi, thanks for visiting my page - for all future donations, please drop us an email : bee@inkreadible.com or myself at mm08kh@leeds.ac.uk.

In June 2011 I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro which, at 19,430 ft, is the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Bee Hodge, ( my mum) Managing Director of inkREADible Labels Ltd is helping raise funds for Charity by running from home in Exeter to work in Torquay, on Wednesday 13th April; which is about 28 miles. A really LONG way.  She is also inviting anyone who wish to run part or all of the course with her, if you are interested, please contact her direct on bee@inkreadible.com. Due to an injury (a bulged disc on the lower spine), her run has been postponed to Friday 13th May.

My fundraising target is high but with your help I can raise money for Childreach International. I would greatly appreciate any donation.

Childreach International works in 7 developing countries and your donations will help towards the builing and improving of schools in Tanzania, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and Ghana. Poverty, geography and weak infrastructure means healthcare for rural communities in Nepal is limited, if not impossible, and with an urban population of only 12%, this problem is of paramount importance. Childreach has partnered with Dhulikhel Hospital and has established a ‘School and Child Health Programme’. This promotes rural school health education and carries out mother and child health camps and research activities. This has benefitted almost 2,500 mothers and children to date. A paediatric training centre for outreach workers has also been established.

Childreach International additionally runs a Carbon Offsetting Scheme, which I will be participating in as part of the programme in Tanzania. I will also be spending a day at one of the projects in Tanzania before embarking on a 6 day hike to the summit and back down again!

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

Thank you so much for you help, if you have any questions about my adventure please don't hestitate to ask!
