The British Lung Foundation is the only charity in the UK focussed on all lung diseases and lung health. One person in seven in the UK is affected by a lung disease. Whether it's asthma, COPD, lung cancer or other lung conditions, the British Lung Foundation is here for every one of them. We focus our resources on providing support for people affected by lung disease including asthma and lung cancer today; and work in a variety of ways, including funding world-class research into lung disease. We also campaign for positive change for people affected by lung disease including lung cancer and improve treatment, care and support for people with lung conditions such as asthma and lung cancer. We have a helpline with dedicated professionals who are fully trained in all aspects of lung health and lung disease including lung cancer and COPD and we fund nurses who are trained to deliver specialist support to people with lung cancer, COPD and other lung diseases. Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Well I have been talking about it for many years and have finally signed up.
In memory of my beautiful cousins Karen and Chris I am hoping to raise money for the Britsh Lung Foundation, a charity very close to them both.
Lung disease is a huge problem in this county affecting one in seven people. If you cant breath, you cant live, our lungs are vital for life.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
