Charities
CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards. Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years. CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support, every step of the way.
We exist to help improve the lives of people affected by cancer, both those living with cancer and also their families and carers. Our primary focus is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Please note Virgin Money Giving isn't responsible for the content fundraisers post on their pages, but if you see something you feel is offensive or inappropriate, please let us know and we'll look into it.
Katy's Battling Buddies Fundraising Page
Hi, thanks for visiting our page.
We plan to hold a few different events for our chosen charities, over the year.
Philip Munro has just climbed Ben Macdui and raised around £185!
Jamie Ritchie-Mackenzie will be doing a sponsored swim later this year, he plans swimming 100 lengths in 1 hour, so please start showing your support and sponsor him now :)
We also have a sponsored slim going on until August/sept. You still have time to join in.
On July the 30th, in Eastgate Centre, Judy MacRae is going to have her head shaved to help raise money for our chosen charities. We will also be having a leg wax (for men of course!!). We need some men volunteers for this and also a beautican that could do the waxing for us.
If you would like to take part in an event or do something to help us then please email me at paulinemunro68@gmail.com with your details and we will email you back with details on how to join our team :)
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to our chosen charities, MacMillan and CLIC Sargent. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
