The Sumo Run Fundraiser
Hello there everyone,
Not content with getting engaged, chucking in my job, becoming an American citizen, moving across the world, doing battle with UK immigration, fighting volcanic ash and FINALLY marrying the love of my life, I have decided to top off this year of note by running a race in a slightly used inflatable sumo suit!
On Saturday, 19th of June 2010, I will be running a 5km event around Battersea Park in London to raise money for Gemin-i. With all participants in sumo suits, it should be a highly entertaining event in addition to being in aid of a very worthy cause. Donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
