Sue Ryder
Sue Ryder provides incredible care for people with life-changing illness. Whether it’s bringing comfort to someone’s final days or enabling them to make the most of their life, we are here for them and their loved ones. We do this in our hospices, in our neurological care centres, in the community and in people’s homes across the country. Our work also goes beyond the UK, Sue Ryder also supports the delivery of specialised health and social care in areas of Eastern Europe and Southern Africa. Our hospices include: Manorlands Hospice near Keighley, Wheatfields Hospice in Leeds, St Johns in Bedfordshire, Thorpe Hall in Peterborough, Nettlebed in Henley-on-Thames, Duchess of Kent House in Reading and Leckhamton Court Hospice in Cheltenham.

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

As many of you know my mum passed away nearly 12 years ago.
The staff at Wheatfield's not only helped my mum through a very difficult time, but they also helped us, her children. Simply knowing she was being taken care of was a relief. We were very appreciative, that she was able to live her final days in a friendly environment where she had meaning rather than in a hospital ward, where she would feel like just another patient.

Myself along with a colleague and friend Donna Moss will be taking part in the 'Starlight Hike' which is a 10km walk that takes place overnight and raises money for this wonderful cause.

So, whether you are her to sponsor me, or Donna, please PLEASE donate anything you can. Even if it's a pound. That will be £1 closer to our target and help me make a little difference and hopefully the staff at Wheatfield's can continue to do the amazing job they do.
We've even been in the paper!!!

Target 1 (£200): Reached on 01/06/12

Target 2 (500): Reached 13/09/12

Final Target (750): Reached?

Many Thanks to all that have donated so far.
