They’re doing it again! Lolo and Deirdre are fundraising together for Lolo’s final London Marathon (his 28th no less!) before he retires to Spain later this year.

Anyone who has visited the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability before will know Deirdre and her formidable fundraising skills, and it’s thanks to her unwavering support of Lolo’s running that they have together raised over £80,000 for the hospital.

By supporting this fabulous duo for their final year you will be helping countless patients and residents at the hospital, many of whom – like Deirdre – rely on assistive technology to retain some independence following a brain injury or neurological illness. Many more patients here in Putney also rely on this technology to communicate, since the ability to speak is often lost following a head trauma or stroke.

As a charity, the RHN needs to raise over £2million each year to continue funding its 17 life-changing therapies and services, all of which improve the well-being and quality of life for the hundreds of patients and residents who stay or live here.

Please dig deep and donate what you can, let’s give Lolo a great send-off into the Spanish sunshine!

Thank you.
