December 21st 2013 The Shortest Day I shall attempt my Longest Run, taking in ALL 4 of the North East Football Stadiums, Newcastle United, Sunderland AFC, Hartlepool United and Middlesbrough FC.

Starting at St James Park I shall run to The Stadium Of Light then onto Victoria Park the home of my beloved Hartlepool United then continue onto Middlesbrough's Riverside, then turn and make my way back to Hartlepool hopefully in time for kick off Hartlepool United v Burton Albion. Approximate total distance of the run 65 miles.

Chosen Charities

Finlay Cooper Fund Formed in August  2006 by former Middlesbrough player and current Hartlepool United manager Colin Cooper and his wiife Julie after they tragically lost their son Finlay in a choking accident. The fund requires much needed finance to help children's charities throughout the region.

Sir Bobby Robson Foundation The legacy left by the much loved and respected North East football legend following his brave battle against cancer and his passing in 2009. Newcastle Upon Tyne NHS Charity incorporating SBRFoundation is the official charity of The Freeman Hospital and donations are used in the fight against cancer.
