Charity

National Children's Bureau
NCB is the leading national charity which supports children, young people and families and those who work with them. Our vision is a society in which children and young people are valued, their rights respected and responsibilities enhanced. Therefore, we undertake more than 60 projects a year to improve the lives of children, especially the most vulnerable. We ensure that children, young people and families are at the heart of all our work and research. We work with organisations from across the voluntary, statutory and private sectors through our membership scheme and through the sector-led specialist networks and partnership programmes that operate under our charitable status. Lucy's marathon challenge

Fundraiser:
Lucy Williams

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/LucyWilliamsNCB

Thank you for visiting my page.

For me this is a huge challenge and one that fills me with both excitement and dread, particularly as someone just told me I might lose my toenails during the process.  There is however, something inspiring about a random sea of people running through the city seemingly for no real purpose, but underneath each with their own unique reason for keeping going for more than twenty-six miles.

I'm running for the National Children's Bureau (NCB), a charity I work for and value being a part of.  It's great to work with so many passionate and committed people who aim to support all children to have a happy and safe childhood - something that all children should have. NCB works to make this possible.  I really appreciate your contribution towards the work of NCB and your support in my challenge.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to NCB. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

Thanks very much,

Lucy
