Charity
CPRE promotes long-term solutions for protecting the beauty, tranquillity and diversity of rural England, ensuring changes value the natural and built environment through effective local and powerful national campaigning. Our major successes include the formation of the first English National Parks and the Green Belt, all thanks to public donations. Our campaign work focuses on the landscape, housing, planning, farming and food.

Marina's East of England bike ride for CPRE
Hello
Thank you for visitng my fundraising page.
I'm embarking on a 300 mile bike ride to raise money for the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE), who campaigns for a sustainable future for the English countryside.
Henry (my bike!) and I will leave Cambridge on 20th September and ride on into Suffolk and Norfolk and hope to finish back in Cambridge about a week later. I will cycle to sites threatend by development, will no doubt encounter litter, busy roads and many other threats to the countryside - all the things CPRE works so hard to provide solutions for.
This is my fourth long distance bike ride for CPRE, please help make it the most successful by sponsoring me, no matter how small. I cover all event costs, so please be assured that every penny raised goes directly to CPRE. Remember to Gift Aid if you can!
With warm wishes
Marina
P.S. Henry and I sincerely promise to be extra careful and to not harm any of our wonderful wildlife; hedgehogs, mice, pheasants and shrews, we'll stick to speed limits and take all our litter home!
