Charity

Anthony Nolan
Someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer such as leukaemia every 23 minutes. A blood stem cell (or bone marrow) transplant is often the only cure. Currently Anthony Nolan is only able to provide a matching donor for half the people that come to us in need of a lifesaving transplant. With your help we can grow our register of remarkable people willing to donate their stem cells, facilitate more transplants and save more lives. It costs £100 to recruit, tissue type and maintain just one potential donor to our register. Your donations will help fund our lifesaving work. Please visit www.anthonynolan.org for more information or email events@anthonynolan.org if you'd like to get more involved.

Thanks for visiting my page.

On April 17th I will be running/walking/crawling round the London Marathon hoping that all the training will bring me to the line around 4 hours.

Although I got in through the ballot and have no specific sponsership target I will be running for the Anthony Nolan Trust.

Everyday Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with Leukaemia by matching them with people willing to donate their stem cells.

This is a fantastic cause and has been the inspiration for me on most of my long late night training runs.

So if you can support in any way it would be most appreciated.

Mark
