Charity
Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care (IRGH) provides hospice care at home and in day hospice for patients with a life-limiting illness in Herts and Bucks. Our care is tailored to patients’ needs, whether that is end of life care or support through treatment and into remission. The charity’s free of charge services also include support for all the family following diagnosis, during the illness and after bereavement. Our nurses work closely with other healthcare professionals, striving to eliminate hospital admissions where possible and making the choice to stay at home a reality for thousands of patients each year

Martin Douch's fundraising page
Hi, thanks for visiting my page.
I am running the 2011 Connemarathon in Ireland on April 10th, followed by the London Marathon a week later. I will be running both of these in aid of the Iain Rennie Hospice At Home.
My mum passed away from cancer when I was 16. Although at the time IRHH was still a relatively small charity & she did not benefit directly from its support, it highlighted to my family how invaluable their work now is in allowing patients to spend their final few weeks with their families. As a local charity based in our home town of Tring we have supported IRHH ever since, & it was an obvious choice to raise money for when I learnt I had gained a place in this year's Marathon.
The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is a registered charity providing care for patients with life-limiting conditions in their own homes around the Chilterns. In order to provide this specialist care they need to raise £4.8million pounds this year, and with only 9% coming from the Govenment they rely very heavily on the support of their community.
Please sponsor me and help me to raise as much as possible for this fantastic cause!
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
