I run ... because I can
I am running in aid of Leonard Cheshire, Alne Hall. The residents, day users, their families, staff and volunteers.
It is a wonderful place with lovely people.
It is my privilege to be given an opportunity to achieve an ambition I have held for 32 years, when I applied -and was turned down - for the first London Marathon when I was 18. It is made more so that I will be running for and with all at Alne Hall. They will be with me every step of the way during my training and the run itself.
We would all be very grateful for any donation you feel able to make, with Gift Aid if possible. If you are unable to donate then perhaps you could give some time to a charity near you?
