WOOHOOOO! job done... Big thanks to everyone for all the sponsorship. Turned out, it wasn't as horrendous as I was imagining it would be like come mile 20, so i ended up having a great time! I even met Richard Branson at mile 25 and ran alongside him talking rubbish for a while - he must have thought who is this loon, but he looked in more pain than I was. Can't say my legs feel too good today, but who cares?!

Lying in bed eating biscuits right now - bliss :-)   Onwards and upwards! And Thank you all for your amazing generosity and kind words x x x   April 27th 2010

Arghhhh! no going back now... I'm carb loading like there's no tomorrow, drinking plenty of water and trying to sleep a good 10 hours a night - there's just the task of the 42km to complete now :-O

Seeing as a lot of the elite field can't make it because of the flight chaos, I've been told I'm in with a chance! (hmmm yeah right mam!!)

All I'm hoping for now is for a cool breeze on Sunday (pleeeeease), to finish it in one piece and raise as much schnooks / wonga for this great charity - so get your wallets out and help with the last bit pleeeeeease. I'm nearly there on the fundraising effort. Thanks sooooo much x x x x

'Truth be told' this marathon training is tough!

I'm up to 15 miles without stopping now and 'at the end of the day, when all is said and done' it's for a good cause, so dig deep and think of me dragging myself out of bed at the crack of dawn on Sunday mornings to go running in the torrential freezing cold rain as well as the 3 or 4 runs  midweek.... arghh roll on the Summer, Pimms cocktails, bbq's, camping on the beach in Wales, flip flops, hmmmm :-)
