Thanks for visiting our fundraising page for the 2012 London Legal sponsored walk.
Since the late 19th century, Mary Ward Legal Centre, part of Mary Ward Settlement, has provided free legal advice to needy people who work and live in London. We provide specialist support,casework and representation rather than general advice.Funding from the Legal Aid Scheme has enabled us to help over 3,000 Londoners in the past year. The current plans for cuts are threatening the future of the Legal Centre and access to justice for Londoners.We need your help to support our work into the future.
On May 21st we will walk to help to raise some of the funds we need. All funds received by London Legal Support Trust through this page will be donated to the Legal Centre without deduction.
Our walkers are :- Marit Mohn, Ceri Williams, Robert Westlake, Elisabeth Tvedt, Elizabeth Sinclair-House, Caroline Millington, Peter Clyne, Valerie Clyne, and Diana Good.
Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you can - and please leave your full name so that we can thank you.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
