Sumo Run - London

Hello and welcome to my page.

On the 19th of June I will be participating in an act of public embarrassment for charity.

What: I, along with many other fellow wrestlers, will be fattening up and running 5kms around Battersea Park dressed as awesome Sumo Wrestlers. As well as helping to raise money for the wonderful charity that is Gemin-I (more on them later) we also hope to enter the Guinness Book of Records for "Most people dressed as Sumo Wrestlers".

Why: Two-part question. Why am I doing it? Well I could really use the exercise; there are people that could really use the help and it looks like it could be a lot of fun. Everyone loves Sumo Suits.

Why should you care? There are many charities out there, choosing the right one can be a hard decision. Gemin-I is and educational charity helping children around the world share ideas and work together for a brighter future. Gemin-I brings together over 60,000 children from over 115 countries to tackle the worlds biggest problems such as Human Rights, HIV/AIDs, malaria and conflict resolutions. Gemin-I helps children understand these issues and learn to take actions, so they can help promote positive change around the world.

Brighter Children = Brighter Future

What: Donations are easy. Every little bit helps, but keep this in mind when you are finding a figure £250 = 1 school connected to the developing world, that’s my target. Think how much you spend on a night out, which often only amounts to a hangover. Contribute this and your will be helping alot of people in a big way.

Support: Get down to Battersea Park on the 19th of June and have a good laugh.
