Hope For Children - Hope for Children (HOPE) was founded in 1994 is a non-religious, non-sectarian, non-profit-making organisation which exists to help children, in particular those living in developing countries as well as the UK, who are Helpless, Orphaned, Poor and Exploited. HOPE seeks to promote sustainable long-term development for impoverished, disadvantaged children and their families through activities which enhance and promote their sustainability. Wherever possible, HOPE provides practical support which allows children to grow up within their own families and communities. Most of our support is through direct help to children at grass-root level, managing smaller projects which are often overlooked by larger funding organisations. It does so primarily by supporting cost-effective initiatives of local partners (organisations, groups and individuals) making a real difference to the children who need it most. HOPE is a low-cost, no frills charity who are proud to say that 100% of all public donations go towards their worthwhile beneficiaries.

Hello, welcome and thanks for visiting my page! In the summer of 2012 I will be cycling 360 miles in 6 days in South Africa, destination: the Cape of Good Hope in Cape Town!

The aim behind this incredible adventure is to raise a grand total of £2,400 for the fantastic charity HOPE for children which helps orphaned, poor and exploited children in the UK and worldwide. HOPE is a non-sectarian, non-political and non-profit making organisation that aims to improve the quality of life of children and their families and ultimately ensure equality, self-reliance and long term sustainable development.
