The North of England Zoological Society is the charity which operates Chester Zoo - the UK’s number one zoo. With over 7000 animals and 400 different species, including some of the most endangered species on the planet, out mission is to be a major force in conserving biodiversity worldwide.

Rhino Maniacs
In September 2010 the Rhino Maniacs will be climbing the world's highest free-standing mountain... Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
The Rhino Maniacs are a group of Chester Zoo employees, who have come together in their own time to take on this challenge. Why? To help raise awareness and funds for Eastern Black Rhino conservation... and because maybe they are all just a little bit mad!
