Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

On 23rd April 2017, I’ll be running the Virgin London Marathon for the very first time to raise money for PSPA!

This will be my first ever marathon and, if that wasn’t enough of a challenge, I’m hoping to raise at least £1750 in sponsorship for PSPA.

Together with my girlfriend Sarah, who’s also running the marathon in aid of Equation, we’ll be doing everything from eBaying and car boot sales, to bucket collections and bag packing to raise money for our charities.

That’s why we need your help.

Sarah and I have raised money over the past 5 years for a number of fantastic charities. There’s no way we could have reached our goals it if it wasn’t for the generosity of friends, family and colleagues who have so compassionately given their hard earned cash to these causes.

Your donations mean the world to us. Anything from £5 to £500 will go towards helping working towards a world free of PSP.

What is PSP?

Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) is a Parkinson’s-like neurological condition caused by the premature loss of nerve cells in certain parts of the brain. Over time this leads to difficulties with balance, movement, vision, speech and swallowing.

Research suggests around 4,000 people are living with PSP in the UK at any one time. In its early stages, symptoms can resemble those of other neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Stroke or Multiple System Atrophy, with the result that initial misdiagnosis is common.

Like many other chronic conditions there is currently no cure for PSP. However many of the symptoms can be managed to help people achieve the best possible quality of life.

Corporate Fundraising Offer

To help me reach my fundraising goal of £1750, for a limited number of days I’ll be working COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE!

Yep, working for no pay at all!

For a limited number of days, I’ll be offering my services as a professional video editor, camera operator and animator to local businesses in exchange for donations to PSPA.

This could be:

◊ A promotional video for your business

◊ Video blogs for YouTube

◊ An event or seminar capturing on video

Or maybe you just want a professional video industry freelancer for the day. ALL money will go direct to the charity without a single penny in my pocket. Ideal for small businesses who want a video for their business at a great price. Drop me an email at mick@boxsetmedia.co.uk for more information.

Thank you to all our supporters! We’ll see you at the finish line!
