Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my fundraising page.
Having spent over a year preparing for this event and running a few half marathons the time has come to run my first full marathon and I have chosen to run and raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer
It seems so appropriate to be running for Breakthrough as we have an employee who has been fighting breast cancer, enduring 3 months of chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy as part of her rehabilitation. I am now pleased to say that she is on the way to recovery after a most difficult year.
This has made me very aware and I have been amazed to learn that breast cancer affects one in nine women during their life. Breast Cancer is the most common cancer but with your help it can be beaten.
Please help me to help Breakthrough Breast Cancer which is a pioneering charity dedicated to the prevention, treatment and ultimate eradication of breast cancer, fighting on three fronts: research, campaign and education.
At the time of writing I have 98 days to go and I estimate around 500 long hard miles of training so please sponsor me and help me support Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
