Mary’s Meals sets up school feeding projects in countries where hunger and poverty prevent children from getting an education. Daily meals are provided in school for over 600,000 children in Africa, Asia, Central America and Europe.

Nick Dunmore's Kilimanjaro Climb!
As a way of marking our 40th birthdays my lovely wife and I decided to attempt a personal challenge , and in doing so to try and make a difference and raise some money for a great charity 'Mary's Meals'.
'Mary’s Meals is an international movement to set up school feeding projects in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education.Mary’s Meals provides daily meals in school for over 400,000 children in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.
Mary’s Meals not only addresses the immediate needs of hungry children by giving them a daily meal, it also allows those children to receive an education that can provide an escape from poverty for themselves and their communities.'
We are blessed with three happy healthy children and would like to make a difference to those children who are not so fortunate. As the reality of our endeavour looms nearer the fear is setting in...altitude sickness (me), vertigo (clare), never having been in a tent EVER (clare), endurance (me).......the thought of making that difference stops us from changing our minds and having 2 weeks in the maldives!!!!!!!
