Nick's London Marathon 2010 Fundraising Page!

After considerable thought (and much of it regarding my stupidity in attempting to do this for a second time!!), on SUNDAY 25th APRIL I will be undertaking the task of running 26.2 miles around London in aid of OXFAM competing in the London Marathon.
I am aiming to complete the course in under 4 hours, and it is my aim to raise a minimum of £500. However, the more I raise, the greater the difference I can make.
I would be very grateful if you could spare as much as you can to help me make a difference for my selected charity, Oxfam, who fight poverty all over the world, and provide aid to those in areas of conflict and disaster zones.
As a brief example, some of the ways in which your donation can help are as follows:
- £50 could pay for a trainee teacher's salary in Kenya for a month.
- £100 could pay for food provisions for 15 orphaned children.
- £100 could pay for essential medicines for a whole village for 6 months.
- £250 could pay for 10 teaching kits that will provide essential educational equipment.
- £500 could pay for the care of 10 orphans or vulnerable children.
- £800 could pay for 350 mosquito nets.
- £1,500 could pay for 11 bicycle ambulances.
