Operational Welfare Fund

SSAFA provides lifelong support for our Forces and their families. Every year we give life-changing support to more than 50,000 people. Thanks to our supporters, we are able to extend a helping hand to our servicemen and women and their families, doing whatever it takes to meet their needs.

Thank you for choosing to support the SSAFA Forces Help Operational Welfare Fund. To donate to this fund please go to the 'Donate Now' section of this page.

The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) - Forces Help is the national charity helping and supporting those who serve in the British Armed Forces, those who used to serve, and the families of both. One day’s paid service is all that is needed to qualify for our assistance.

This Operational Welfare Fund was launched by SSAFA Forces Help in 2008 in partnership with the Ministry of Defence. It is dedicated to enhancing the lives of our troops in the front line.

Priority for spending from this fund is set by Commanders in theatre, for those items which will have the most impact. Examples of gifts purchased through this fund are Wii handsets, portable DVD players and games such as table-tennis tables.

By contributing to the SSAFA Operational Welfare Fund, you will help to boost the morale of our brave troops currently serving in Afghanistan.

To donate online please click on the 'donate now' button. Alternatively telephone donations can be made by calling 020 7463 9225 or by cheque made payable to the SSAFA Operational Welfare Fund. Please send your donations to: SSAFA Forces Help, 19 Queen Elizabeth Street, LONDON SE1 2LP

On behalf of our Servicemen and women in Afghanistan, thank you for your gift.
