Owen Stillman's Half Marathon Fundraising

Hi,

For some reason I thought running the Bristol Half Marathon would be a good idea. So to spur me on and make this have a positive impact on others I have decided to raise money to support the amazing work Winston's Wish do with supporting bereaved children, such as when a parent in their life has been murdered.

Charities that focus on the younger generation aren't as big and popular as the big players focusing on illnesses. Winton's Wish focuses on supporting the often ignored age group, whose life has been affected in ways people can rarely relate to. They are usually left to suffer their loss alone which can lead to it affecting their early lives. Winston's wish supports them through the hard times by getting them to talk about their feelings.

In fact, there was a hard hitting documentary on channel 4 featuring this charity's work called "A killing in my family". It's inspiring and hard hitting so be ready for an emotional ride

I've put £200 as my goal but if I were to raise more it would mean so much
