PAC-UK exists to improve the lives of families and individuals affected by adoption and other forms of permanence by providing access to a range of individually tailored services and appropriate support depending on need.  In addition we aim to increase the awareness and knowledge of professionals and the general public.

Lily:

"As some people will know I have always loved running and enjoyed it as a means of keeping fit and getting outdoors, but this year I thought I would go a step further and take part in my first marathon! Tie that in with my love of the sea and it means I will be running the Brighton Marathon on 9th April. I am running for PAC-UK. The race is now only 2 weeks away so the nerves are starting to kick in, training is almost complete and although it's been very challenging at times i now just have to get around on the day..! Any donation no matter how big or small would really appreciated and I know PAC UK would be grateful of any support they recieve."

Julie:

"Julie, 57,  only took up running 8 years ago. Showing the upmost determination, she even managed to wipe out direct competition - her husband and PAC-UK CEO, Peter, who is now ‘conveniently’ not able to run as he awaits a new knee!  Julie and Peter have competed head-to-head against each other many a time – one of the photos shows a chuffed Julie just moments after she beat Peter by 1m 44s in a 10K run!

All jokes aside, Julie ran the Brighton Marathon in 2016 for Pancreatic Cancer UK in loving memory of her father, with a highly respectable time of 5hrs 03mins. This year, Julie will be bravely (some may say stupidly!) taking on the challenge again, this time for PAC-UK, the UK’s largest independent adoption support charity, of which Peter is Chief Executive."

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to PAC-UK. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.
