Hi, thanks for visiting my page.
Those of you who know me well are probably amazed that I am even thinking of attempting this. I have had my doubts too these last few weeks, especially with creaking knees during training and 2 colds back to back which have really got in the way of progress.
However, the experience of running the London Marathon, especially in the same year the Olympics are being held there I think will be really special and I believe that the charity I have chosen to run for is really worthwhile. Children with Cancer UK use their funds to research improved treatments for childhood cancers and for welfare intiatives at local level to help minimise the difficulties caused by treatments, which are often long and painful, with no guarantees of success.
Keep your fingers crossed for me on the big day in April as I run those gruelling 26.6 miles! Thankyou for your support and any donations given.
