Parkinson's UK
Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's. Because we're here, no one has to face Parkinson's alone. We bring people with Parkinson's, their carers and families together via our network of local groups, our website and free confidential helpline. Specialist nurses, our supporters and staff provide information on every aspect of Parkinson's. As the UK's Parkinson's support and research charity we're leading the work to find a cure, and we're closer than ever. We also campaign to change attitudes and demand better services. Our work is totally dependant on donations. Help us to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's.

Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Starting on Monday 12th June we are cycling from Pauillac in the Médoc across to La Livinière in the Minervois to arrive on Friday 16th June 2017. Our ride is timed to coincide with the annual Fête du Vin of the Boulevard Napoléon owned by Fergus Henderson and Trevor Gulliver of the famous St John Restaurant in London. Fergus is a very inventive chef, who has suffered from Parkinson's for a number of years. We are determined to raise as much money as possible through our ride to comabt this cruel disease.

We are also riding in memory of Ivor Morris of The London Fire Brigade, who got us into serious cycling. Ivor died from Parkinson's in 2008.
